It was a lie. The COVID stimulus did NOT cause inflation. The inflation was mostly fake. There were still some of the effects from the supply chain problems and the prior Ever Given situation, but the majority of the "inflation" was corporate price gouging, some of which they're still engaging in.
I’m all for it if it helps lift our country up, but I’m concerned about inflation; when we handed out money during Covid, that was later blamed for the really high inflation. Will it also happen w/ UBI, even without supply issues, labor issues, etc?

Nuclear Power is 2x more expensive than Fossil Fuel and 16x more expensive than Solar/Wind.
The only reason they push it is because like Fossil Fuel it can be completely controlled (and the price of electricity) by them.
Solar/Wind would rapidly lead to free electricity.

I think about the threat of homelessness a lot.
As an engineer, we have an ethical duty to protect the public and environment in the infrastructure we built.
But my employer doesn't. And they can fire me and hire someone else with lower standards, and I'll be homeless.
