I think what I get out of this is Gender is just a word for categorizing stuff and means different things with different subject matters, sometimes it's a binary but in the case of more complex things like humans it is a spectrum
i think people get hung up on the idea of “hwo can a word be a girl” and dont understand that the word gender here could easily be replaced with genre and would then make sense
