Well the cold has certainly arrived with a frosty morning for many and down as low as -4c but some good sunny spells ahead today. There will be some showers in Northern areas and possibly of sleet and snow in parts of North. Staying cold into Saturday and then risk of rain, sleet and snow.

Aside from the delays, one of the main and constant issues with Irish Rail is unfolding right now. Poor, or non existent communication. Nobody minds if, in this case now, there's a delay for whatever reason. As long as it's communicated to the passengers. But time and time again, it isnt #irishrail

There's a lot of dialogue about Bluesky being a progressive echo chamber or whatever. But to me, a reporter who's neither racist nor insane, it's currently the best Twitter replacement because Twitter serves me nonstop racist and insane stuff and Threads won't do breaking news. Truly that simple.
