I actually think treating minor online social interactions with a degree of important fit only for severe life-altering situations and appropriating that language (therapy speak in "narcissist") was itself a huge motivator for the right-wing capture of Twitter (ex: "free speech" discourse).

I wake up as always, every day after November 5th, frankly stunned at the short sightedness of American voters. Most of them have no idea what they’ve wrought. My guess is only a small percentage of Americans are actual, knowing fascists. Most just don’t know basic things about government.

Exactly, the game now is to gum up the gears of fascism and slow things down to as close to a halt as possible, in every way possible.
And part of that is arguing loudly and vociferously against their demonization of vulnerable groups.

Too many people online think there's one some sort of silver bullet that will defeat fascism, so they're just rejecting tools before they even use them. when it's just sustained and overwhelming resistance using all the means at your disposal.

I truly believe that there are going to be such untenable stresses within both the executive and legislative branch that second and third order effects will make it impossible for this government to function for very long. it’s really about how hard they hit us with shock and awe in the early weeks.
I really feel like the Trump administration will be historically unpopular in a way that becomes untenable, the real question is what groups are hurt in the interim and how much courage the Dems show in both stopping and rolling back all the damage done
