Watching car salesmen days before year end baffled that sales have been down for 3 to 4 months. The cars are worse, cost twice as much, wages are half what they were, and you want $700 a month to lease. Nobody’s making money. Of course no one’s buying.

I think one of the lessons that the huge success of congestion pricing in NYC is that charging a nominal upfront fee- even one far less the the levellized cost you are paying for elsewhere- is very good at cutting off the bottom 5% of bad behavior that makes things worse for everyone.

It feels weird to me so many people in dating apps broadcast their Christianity. I feel like maybe they're missing the point and simply want someone to do weird Evangelical stuff with in an Evangelical place, like it's a club or sports team.
It's gauche to me. Would they wear Jesus' jersey?
