I swear every other reviewer mentions how they usually hate sliding puzzles. Although I understand why, since I also groan a bit when playing a custom levelpack and I find an "only" sliding puzzle.
Positive review for Gentoo Rescue that reads: "I can't believe I paid money for ice sliding puzzles. Incredibly, impossibly, the devs took my least favorite puzzle mechanic and made an intense, excellent puzzle game. It's one of those puzzle games where you keep thinking you know all the rules, only for the game to bake your brain in some new and twisted way. Great, and maddeningly complex for a game with such simple basic rules. Thumbs up. "

New daily challenge: Writing a positive Steam review for an indie game I like.

This is a very well designed puzzle game about taking a simple premise and gradually expanding it into a very intricate system of things that interact with each other in fun and unique ways. The puzzles are on the harder side, but there's a very well thorough hint system for them. There's a lot of "meta" elements to the puzzles as well, and that aspect is pretty well done too. Just a solid game all around.
