i put together a new email template system for browsertrix & wrote a bit about it
Browsertrix 1.18 is out, with support for large seed lists and a new email system so invites, password resets, and everything else is clearer, smoother, and prettier.

Also better QA and a setting to automatically fail a crawl when you get logged out.

it’s been fun being a test subject for this! hoping luna can find some funding for this and keep expanding it, it works quite well (for the most part) even as it is now

i've been working on my own feedgen project throughout the past month with a goal to replace Discover, named nagare aka @nagare.pds.bsky.ln4.net

it is very much not an easy feat, even harder when there's heavy cost constraints attached to it!

“Trump did Covid-19” is a federally funded graphic-design shitpost i never could have asked for & i love how incomprehensible it is.

my favorite part is that the page has a signature from Covid-19 itself. like damn, that must have been an expensive autograph.

If you're trans and based in Canada, my friend @torontopubliclibra.com made this neat site which can help make sense of the process for updating your IDs.

Sharing because... yknow.

I put together this mini-site for @webrecorder.net showcasing our US Government web archives

Replace “.gov” with “.govarchive.‍us” on any of the supported government sites to seamlessly browse archived versions, including sites like USAID that are now gone

Blog post in the quoted post!

One by one, the tools used in Montreal to monitor COVID-19 infections are removed. @inspq.qc.ca will stop posting wastewater data for our city after April 1st. This will help invisibilize further the spread of the virus, which is still very much circulating: see @moriartylab.bsky.social's dashboard.
