THIS 💔 So many people I love have been seduced into believing that God *wants* us to be a legalistic, everyone-for-yourself society…if by “God” you mean “Donald Trump” I guess that’s true 🤬
The cruelty in today's politics feels horribly corrosive. Bringing up that hard-working immigrant families — undocumented, yes, but not violent criminals — are being ripped apart based on immigration status doesn't bring compassion or even pause, but gleeful cheers.

The biggest flaw with so many in the current administration isn’t that they lack the knowledge to do better, but that they have never learned how to learn — they lack the most basic ability to evaluate the validity & value of different information, & treat fact and opinion as equally relevant 😬
