The officer who shot Alex worked for DHS for 8 years. The officer who shot Renee worked for DHS for over 10 years. Both are considered “highly trained.”

Target’s new CEO says the situation in MN is “painful” to him and his gutless company. I hope it is even more painful when target is permanently identified as a company so cowardly that it chose to stand with those who would cavalierly murder its own customers. They deserve our scorn.

Of course I’m not minimizing the grotesque murders, but additionally, when did it become acceptable police behavior for ICE cops to walk up to people and just violently shove them to the ground like they have no dignity as human beings? This is what trump and his thugs think of people.

Republican politicians who think that Minneapolis is a political problem are missing the point. It is a moral problem. But they are in so deep that they cannot see just how morally bankrupt they have become. They do not understand that we are as revulsed by their complicity as by Trump's cruelty.
