Does anyone besides me wonder about the Putin element?! People have thought that Putin sexually blackmailed Trump for a longtime, and whether or not Bubba was Clinton, it sure af sounds like Putin is sexually blackmailing Trump. I don’t know how you could read that any other way.

Bill Clinton has the opportunity to redeem himself. He needs to be like, Trump blew me and it was sloppy and I didn’t even come, but he kept at it for hours. It’s not even a big deal. Come on.

The subsidies were needed as a temporary stop gap, but when are we going to have the conversation about why healthcare costs are so astronomical in this country in the first place? Why are we subsidizing corporations that exploit us? Nurses unions- will you strike for us?

So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

All these journalists reporting on EBT have made me realize- even the small independent journalists don’t actually know any poor people. If you don’t have a friend who is poor enough to be on EBT, why? What kind of assumptions about yourself and others keep your social world divided by class?

My husband’s wardrobe is largely inherited from his grandparents, and he typically wears his California University president paternal grandpa’s clothes. People love him. He wore his maternal grandma’s Rusty Wallace NASCAR jacket out today and……..it was not well received in the urban PNW. #classist
