Update: just called, and the Supreme Court doesn’t take public comments over the phone. Snail mail required. We need to start a huge letter writing campaign, written letters carry more weight and require responses legally, if enough of us write we actually could make a difference.

The best cat in the world, Iggy RIP 2014-2023. She passed away from presumed heart failure, watch for the signs in cats- trouble jumping up, lethargy, her mew also got quiet! They suffer in silence, I wish I’d known.

The osoberries are beginning to unfurl their blossoms. Their early arrival made them an indigenous diet staple. I just saw two hummers in the patch of service berries and osoberries back for the spring. They make their nests next to their nectar sources and dive bomb us if we come near.
