The obsession with balkanization and secession amongst the left is as symptom of the same problem that has gotten us into this mess- there is a fundamental misbelief about how much all the states rely on each other. You are not gonna be able to cleanly cut ties. This ship will go down together.

I propose a Constitutional Amendment requiring any candidate for federal office or any individual nominated to serve in a federal appointment to correctly answer all 100 potential questions for the US citizenship exam.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
