Desperately want to extricate our country from this antiquated political union & return to being a normal independent country once again.
Dandy to my core.

A hearty meal on a chilly night in NE Scotland.

Beef bourguignon.

Scottish shin marinated in a litre of red wine overnight.

Slow cooked with fresh thyme, pearl onions for four hours & accompanied by buttery mash.

Get in.

"We already know what Farage wants to do to Scotland, because he told us in 2013. He said “If and when the Scots bottle it on 8 September [sic] and vote no, they will see a stronger English voice because people have had enough of Scottish self-indulgence.”

More of this please…

Scotland is not a region.

Well said sir….( and an apology so fair play) but call it out.

Not quite true in terms of British social policy, Henry. Scotland has its own Assisted Dying Terminally Ill (Scotland) Bill which MSPs will vote on in due course. Devolution……

People in England are very angry about politics.
But that’s because they believe their past (England =Empire) was a better place.

In Scotland, by comparison, there is much less anger because a majority believe the future can be a better place.

Britain IS broken.

Torn apart by post-Empire exceptionalism, coupled with a deeply unpleasant shift to the right to feed the 'money men' and the archaic remnants of feudalism.

We need #ScottishIndependence to deliver the fairer society Scotland's people want, and vote for.

Same for me. The union is not good for any of us - maybe worst of all for England. But the cloak of Britishness and the MO of the two Westminster parties seems to hide England from itself. Easier for England to dissolve the union, but easier for us to see the need. And there's the rub.

Which, frankly, is one of the reasons I became an advocate for Scottish independence: the hope that achieving it would give a wake-up call to England too and my friends and family there might benefit from the changes.

I’ve just done this and what a difference it has made.
It was really wobbly via the app on iPad but now it’s a hundred times better in appearance- You’d almost think you were on twitter :)
I deleted the app on the iPad, and now use the web version on safari. Much better

The UK insisting that democracy stopped for Scotland in 2014 seems a very poor argument in favour of the Union.

Yes, there was a ref in 2014.
A) democracy is not an event. The world didn't stop in 2014.
B), the promises made to Scotland if NO won, haven't been honoured.
C) the fundamental state of the union have been changed, against our will.

This is not “between” Scotland and England…it is “FROM” Scotland to England.

Secondly… this extracts £4,309,920,000 per annum from Scotland (based on current average retail tariff of 24.6p per kWh).

What’s in it for Scotland?…nothing!

What's a "Yes" Group?

All over Scotland, we're a grassroots movement of folk with a common interest – regaining our Independence, and getting back to the centre of Europe.

We're not a political party, or aligned to any one political party.

Classic Beef bourguignon recipe now occurring.

Local Aberdeenshire prime meat marinading overnight in a litre of red wine.

That’s the trick. ;)

I’ve just bought this book on hardback and I’d highly recommend it.

Food is unctuous but he takes the time to take you through it on Ex (I’m here now haha)
If you liked this, the full recipe for it and dozens of meals can be found in my latest book Sustenance, which is currently on sale with my other two books for 67% off!
