I'm at Adobe Max and I'm pretty sure 90% of people are live tweeting this AI garbage and the rest are Adobe plants.

On June 2, 1991, flight 283 from LA to Newark lost all contact with ATC. The aircraft never landed, and no remains were found.
Ever since, rumors of a "ghost plane" have spread among aviation enthusiasts, who claim to have seen flight 283 attempting to land at airports across the world.

@iwriteok.bsky.social listening to the newest episode about Buford Pusser. Great episode.

I both want to draw attention to a great song relating to it and a guide to pronounce that name as someone from Tennessee.

it's absolutely critical to understand in this moment that people aren't largely reacting to who Charlie Kirk was as a person, but who they knew him as because of what tiny pieces of him got clipped out and stuck in their newsfeeds.
reposting with alt text because this feels incredibly significant. the right-wing disinfo machine means a lot of the people grieving Charlie Kirk never heard any of the things he said that would have tarnished his brand as Guy Who Just Wants to Have Dialogue Across the Aisle

Charlie Kirk's death is a tragic one. Tragic ends are not always undeserved and can be brought upon by the victim's life and choices made. That doesn't mean it's right or it should have happened. But when bad things happen to hateful people it shouldn't be hard to see why some people aren't sobbing.

Shelby County, where Musk’s xAI facility sits, has Tennessee’s highest rate of ER visits for asthma.

For the majority-Black residents of the area, emissions from the company’s methane gas turbines exacerbate longstanding public health concerns.

This dude's whole job is shaming people for being "ungrateful."

Just counting the moments until Thanksgiving where he'll go full La-Z-Boy on us all.

I guess it's positioning themselves as not implicitly supporting *checks notes* the Cracker Barrel rebrand?

As a designer no one is even seriously talking about why the rebrand is missing the mark either just the same old "new/clean sucks" takes.
These idiots now feel the need to weigh in with agreement for whatever right-wing culture war outrage is currently going on. Morons.

What a sad day for our country. It will reverberate through our country for generations.
Nobody said it would be easy, but Republicans found a way to cut taxes for the rich while taking away your healthcare. A story of true heroism.

Oh I know billionaire. This translates to "I can't easily control narratives and sway public opinion with my money."
The problems with Bluesky are true with every other platform. It's not that it's a bubble, though. It's that people feel a desire to protect a place they like.

I don't agree with Cuban here but I think we need to come up with ways to not let this become its story.

Bluesky is backfiring. Mark Cuban says the 'lack of diversity of thought' is actually pushing users back to X
The billionaire argues Bluesky’s liberal-heavy user base creates an echo chamber.

I'm still pushing full-time, in-home never playing EA games.
As someone who works at a company that has already done this, it's not about effectiveness, it's about power and control.

They will not change until forced to by the workers. Do not waste your time trying to debate them, use your energy to organize with your coworkers in unions instead.
