23000 lives could have been saved if we hadn’t put an appalling narcissist in charge of government during a pandemic.
I hope the report brings some comfort to the families of the bereaved but I doubt it will.
Johnson still gets to profit from his obscene failures as a leader.

I loathed Johnson from way before he was PM. I remember daily ‘heated debates’ with my then colleagues who adored him & Brexit. Today I hope even they will have to agree he was the worst PM ever. His laziness & incompetence killed our citizens. And he partied.

I want him to pay

This depression in the ground along Shirehampton Road is the Rushpool.
Before the invention of refrigeration, much of the city’s meat arrived at Avonmouth Docks as live cattle and was driven across the land to the Bristol abattoir.

President Zelenskyy came to the White House, looking for help from his longstanding ally.

He was ambushed, humiliated and berated for not being grateful enough.

Prince Bone Saw bin 9/11 came to the White House, for the first time since he ordered the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

He was revered.

UK Covid Inquiry concludes: 23,000 deaths could've been prevented if the March 2020 lockdown had been imposed just a week earlier.

No mistake by any prime minister in living memory has caused so many deaths in the UK.

The tragic and catastrophic price of Boris Johnson's incompetence & negligence.

Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

The “toxic and chaotic culture” inside Boris Johnson’s Downing St was behind the UK’s “too little, too late” response to Covid-19, with Johnson singled out for particular blame. Inquiry chair Baroness Hallett said poor decisions by him, his ministers and officials cost tens of thousands of lives.

Armed with camera crew, Robert Jenrick’s vigilante attempt to tackle fare-dodging at a London station miles from his constituency, is risible.
With no permission to film, this stunt is an attempt to become a London mayoral candidate, knowing his future doesn’t lie with a Party in terminal decline.

On the one hand, such mockery is well earned.

On the other, it could very well drive him completely insane, and he still controls the nuclear button.

The problem is not the winter fuel payment, or pension credit (or the next particular rise in the Ofgem cap). The problem is that the state pension is not enough to live on, so that losing £200 a year can be a calamity.
