I never fail to be impressed by the Geordie dedication to an airport drink. There were people drinking glasses of wine at 4.40am today, while I could barely manage coffee!

Got the notification that my new passport is being printed. Fingers crossed the photo that I thought was OK on Saturday looks OK in real life 🤞🏻
Need to renew my passport so I have done my hair and a full face of make up on a day when I'm not leaving the house. 50+ photo attempts later the application is in, just need to post off the old passport now. ✈️

Very pleased with my decision to take a two week Christmas break. Only regret is not winning the lottery to enable a somewhere longer break!

I'm at home tonight so I feel like sharing the photo of my sleeping arrangements last Boxing Day is cheating when it comes to #duvetknowitschristmas. But suffice to say there was a disembodied head and some precariously stacked board games. And a sofa bed that is 170cm long (I'm 168cm).

I'm not entirely sure why my parents let me watch this given how old I was when it came out! Watched the first two series again recently... Absolute perfection.
I'm against protectionism, and I don't really believe in cultural appropriation, other than we should never have let them turn this perfect, 12 hour British drama into a sprawling, interminable American monstrosity.

Spent twenty minutes of Remembrance Sunday looking up my grandma's uncle's war grave record. They were very close in age and she never got over his death. He was rarely even mentioned. Poor Georgie, I hope you know your family loved you.
