There is another, smaller sled dog race happening today/this weekend - It's the Hudson Bay Quest in Churchill, Canada.
They are not on Bluesky yet, but are on Insta and FB. Some really interesting reels...the dogs/sleds/teams etc are all transported there by train.

I signed me and the dogs up for wooftrax, and I signed up to volunteer for our public library system! It doesn't have to be monetary, but nobody ever says no to monetary generosity. #uglydogs

I have never understood the total lack of information about the dogs from the ITC's end. Each musher's bio should include a team roster and info on the dogs. You know, the creatures who are actually getting them to Nome. Boggles the mind.

The ITC has never known what to do with the #UglyDogs.
They don't understand how or why UglyDogs are so devoted to Blair & Quince and their dogs.
They can't quite grasp the power of storytelling in communicating.
They don't know why UglyDogs don't automatically support Iditarod in general.
