The #igivearod2025 totals are in! This drive in honor of Quince Mountain's #Iditarod run brought in a record $138,646, breaking the previous 2019 record of $127,500. This brings the sum total of all #igivearod drives to an amazing $525,720 to support Alaska school projects and organizations.

Because he lagged far behind race leaders, officials pulled Quince Mountain from the Iditarod. He finished, unsupported and unofficially, on his own.

I got a voicemail from them. Said they really appreciated all the igivearod donations & thought we’d appreciate knowing they have a program in Unalakleet with storytelliing & story circles through the Story Works program. They’re also piloting a teacher training program there this year. Very cool!
