Recently, Clifford "Buzz" Grambo decided to upgrade his electric scooter. The old one he had purchased online only reached 16 mph and wasn't cutting it anymore. He needed to go faster to keep up with the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement cars he chases around Baltimore. So, Grambo bought a Segway MAX G3, which features a 2,000-watt motor and can get up to 28 mph. "The first time I caught up to them, I could tell that they already knew who I was," he told me when we first spoke on the phone in late October. "They had seen me before, so they thought they were just going to speed away. I was like, ha-ha bitches, I got a new scooter!"

I was listening to an old Casey Kasem American Top 40 (I find this soothing these days) from 1985 where he told the story of Wendy Carlos, who scored The Shining and Tron, and her journey to becoming trans. Casey got all the pronouns right and it was presented as a slice of life, feel good story

Even even though the former childhood star is usually able to get away from his famous past in France, Culkin did share a funny story about a Parisian cafe that was using his name as its Wi-Fi password. The actor explained that when he walked into the cafe, a woman handed him a "Home Alone"-era photo of himself on a card. “A waitress just gave it to me and walked away -- their Wi-Fi code was 'Macaulay Culkin,"' the actor said. "When she came back, I said, 'I like your Wi-Fi code.' She goes, 'Thank you,' and I say, 'C'est moi.' She turned white and brought over the owner of the place, who said, 'I knew you'd come here someday.'"

Judges have ruled it's illegal to be sent to blue cities in the first place. Alligator Alcatraz got shut down. They're desperate to hire people for ICE because people keep quitting. Protests are happening every week, everywhere. We are in a very scary and very chaotic time. Project 2025 is terrifying. People are being emboldened to be violent, and people are being traumatized and harmed. The country has been divided and damaged, but not beyond repair and rebuild. We will get through this, we can't just give up and comply in advance. Don't let the bastards get you down.
