Encore une fois, pour ne pas répéter les erreurs que nous avons commises collectivement sur Twitter : on ne répond pas aux comptes néfastes, on ne les quote pas, on ne les screen pas : on les bloque.
I badly need a print of this office poster.

a really apt moment to remind people in case you're not constantly hearing this in large group chats: you should assume a fed is lurking in any big group chat.

Je comprends mieux pourquoi mon feed a l'air différent depuis un certain temps, avec des personnes que je ne vois plus du tout.
Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

Sam Altman’s AI empire will devour as much power as New York City and San Diego combined. Experts say it’s ‘scary’ | Fortune

📣 Germany's close to reversing its opposition to mass surveillance & private message scanning, & backing the Chat Control bill. This could end private comms-& Signal-in the EU.

Time's short and they're counting on obscurity: please let German politicians know how horrifying their reversal would be.
We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe. signal.org/blog/pdfs/ge...

Most of “AI” is a rebranded side effect of the surveillance technology.
Following qualitative inspection of 100 CV papers & 100 patents, we highlight two salient themes that emerged:

1. humans are subsumed under the term ‘objects’
2. the field goes out of its way to obfuscate surveillance
