@umich.edu faculty call for an honorary degree for Trump

Why Trump would be perfect for an honorary U-M doctoral degree
Awarding Trump an honorary doctoral degree would be an opportunity to recognize the long way the University has walked in less than two years. U-M juniors may still remember times when the campus code...

I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?

The MMR vaccine is one of the most stunningly effective medical therapeutics in existence. It’s also safer than most of your everyday activities. This is simply an attempt to stop people from vaccinating.

ER doc here! This is a lie. Wait times are up because the American healthcare system is an unsustainable business model and a for-profit national healthcare system just doesn’t work. These problems will continue to get worse until we change that system. It literally has nothing to do with immigrants
Vance: "If you're an American citizen & you've been to the hospital in the last few years, you've probably noticed wait times are especially large & very often somebody who's there in the ER is an illegal alien. Why do those people get healthcare benefits at hospitals paid for by American citizens?"

I called and am getting transferred to the secretary, that direct line is: 202-690-7000
Introverts: it's after office hours right now, so you won't have to speak to a human if you call the direct line now and leave a message.

RFK Jr. backs down all the time when he gets push back, so if anyone wants to call, here's the HHS number 1-877-696-6775.
I'd also call your senators/reps as well.

Donald Trump's immigration policy (essentially to have masked men disappear 4-6% of the population) is morally reprehensible *and* deeply unpopular, a second poll this week finds.

When the vaccine was on the horizon, I said that I would be grateful for the shot even if it had to be injected in my eyeballs. And I meant it. The vaccines were lifesaving miracles and saved my career in critical care.
put simply, getting vaccinated for COVID19 reduced your chances of ending up in a body bag -- ideally stacked on a rack in a refrigerated truck next to the hospital -- by 95%

when folks talk about other endpoints, they're ignoring this
all the while wondering if your PPE would fail, or if you'd bring the pathogen home to your family

somehow this never comes up in most criticisms of the acute response to COVID-19

the lack of resources was immense and not the fault of medical or scientific professionals on the front lines
