Defense Minister Katz claims Israel will use a coming truce to relocate 600,000 Gazans to the Egypt border, eventually moving all inhabitants into that area. They will then be held there indefinitely, pending implementation of "the emigration plan, which will happen." www.haaretz.com/israel-news/...

It remains the case that if you refuse the two-state solution for Israel-Palestine, the alternatives are:
1. One binational state with voting rights for all
2. One apartheid state
3. Expulsions and ethnic cleansing

Those are the choices; those have always been the choices, and it will not change.
Netanyahu on a two state solution: "Overall security will always remain in our hands. Now that is a fact. And no one in Israel will agree to anything else, because we don't commit suicide."

Video obtained by my colleague Farnaz Fassihi shows how the IDF deliberately attacked, over several minutes, a convoy of ambulances and other emergency vehicles in #Gaza. #Israel wrongly claimed that the vehicles drove without emergency signals and headlights. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/04/w...

This is a straight up war crime, captured on video. Israel murdered 15 international aid workers consciously, deliberately, and covered it up. Astonishingly, outrageously, the Trump administration, all Republicans, and most Democrats will do absolutely nothing in response.

We conducted a poll in Syria last month. It found that people were still broadly hopeful three months after Assad's fall: 70% said they were optimistic about the direction of the country. Biggest pain point is the economy, which most Syrians think is stagnant or getting worse.

Unsurprisingly, the poll also found a deep gulf between religious and ethnic groups. Only 6% of Sunnis are pessimistic, compared with 40% of Alawites. You can read more about the findings here: www.economist.com/middle-east-...

RAND PAUL: “.. When McKinley most famously put tariffs on in 1890, [the GOP] lost 50 percent of their seats in the next election. When [Smoot and Hawley] put on their tariff in the early 1930s, we lost the House and the Senate for 60 years.”

She has not received her required asthma medications—a violation of her fundamental right to medical care.

This is cruelty, it is neglect, and it is a damning moral and legal failure.
