Give yourself something to look forward to next year. Something less substantial than a resolution which can carry regret if you can't stick to it. Think of a book you want to read, a genre of music you'd like to learn more about, a curiosity to chase no matter how trivial. Keep your spark lit.

Yeah, this attitude towards my art got me through a difficult art year, and that's probably why, despite my technically bad career year, I ended the year with a net positive attitude towards my art XD
