I note the hysteria on #SkyNews regarding Australia's $1 trillion debt.

Some facts. Australia's national debt was $890B when Labor came to power. The previous LNP govt had doubled the debt during their 9 years in power (2/3 of which was pre-pandemic).

So Dutton is critical of the Labor government's budgeted trillion dollar debt (of which it inherited 89% of from Dutton’s mob), yet he has no problem with borrowing almost the same amount to build his pointless nuclear wet dream?

Cognitive dissonance much ?

Dutton’s plan to cull public servants isn’t just risky – it’s misguided
While it’s true Labor has hired 36,000 public servants since 2022, most of them aren’t located where the Coalition leader believes them to be.

Labor slightly and gradually improves conditions of people, especially working class people, the Greens remind people more could be done quicker, and the Liberals and Nationals vote against even the slightest improvements.

And fair enough.
