Just thinking about how the right made up an entirely fictional left wing character that resulted in so many bomb threats and the like and nobody will face consequences. But people on the left who accurately clocked the victim’s life work lost jobs.

Australia first or Australia last?

It is obvious where the right wing in Australia stands.

You generation votes, supports, destructive right wing ideology. Own it.

It is only fair.

If we ban YouTube for under-16s.

We must ban Sky News and News Corp for the over-60s.

The latter is arguably more dangerous.

Australian private firms manufacture F-35 parts for the global U.S. defence contractor Lockheed Martin, over which we have no authority to dictate where components are shipped, right?

The issue isn’t whether Australia directly exports to Israel, nor is it solely a moral debate.
Wong is claiming Australia only sells Israel non-lethal parts of the F-35.

Non-lethal parts of the F-35....

'Gacy's right hand did all the killing - his left foot, and the other non-lethal parts of Gacy, should be exonerated.'

Argue it at the ICJ, Penny, you're digging a hole.

New Australia Institute research shows there’s little evidence of a productivity crisis.

“Australia’s so-called ‘productivity crisis’ is massively exaggerated. Low productivity is not to blame for the problems facing households today, like low wage growth.”

GDP of 0.2% for the quarter & 1.3% for the year means

Albo will need to stimulate the economy

Raise the unemployment rate to a similar level of age-old pensions.

Economic benefits will have a return on investment for the budget long term

So, when late-stage capitalism races towards wiping out all the workers, where do they think the profits will come from if the population is out of work?

Universal income?

Will the government need to tax companies based on their AI agent usage?

Sure we can increase our defence spending, funded by charging the yanks more for their basis and military presence in Australia

Im all for an increase in military spending, pragmatism means an untrustworthy U.S and an unknown rising China means it has to happen

Not at the demand of a foreign power

It may take a while, but it is no brainer. The Liberals need to go it alone to regain the mainstream centre-right party to regain the seats in the city, you know, where most of Australia lives.

The Coalition, the party with a woman problem, has a female leader and a male deputy.

Labor, the party without a female problem, has a male PM and a male deputy.

Take that as you will.

Also - our preferential voting system is a beautiful thing to be defended to the death.

Forget any “optional preference” etc or worse.

A system where everyone’s vote matters is glorious
A very good thing. Those who can’t cope with the ALP and LNP not getting all the first preference votes need to learn to count past 2.
Good news for Australian politics and society.

"The major parties’ primary vote has, once again, fallen.

In fact, there is a strong chance that the combined independent and minor party vote will beat one of the major parties for the first time in seven decades."
