Dad has been in hospital for a few weeks. No access to GB News. It has been very refreshing being able to have a normal conversation with him again, not one mention of immigrants or liberals.

Some lawyer had a sufficient lack of self respect to utter the phrase “threw a sandwich at point blank range” in a court of law. Folks, resigning with your dignity intact is always an option.

One long car journey I was so cross with my kids I stopped speaking to them. They kept trying to make me talk. Eventually the seven year old decided to keep deliberately using 'should of' because they know I'm a pedant and it was killing me not correcting their grammar. I'm proud
