Feeling inspired by and grateful to my fellow Vancouver residents today for organizing en masse against a budget so sloppy and craven that anyone else would be fired for presenting it at their work.
Sean Orr has been summarizing every speaker (almost all in opposition) on Ken Sim and ABC's MAGA budget. $50 Million for cops, cuts for everyone else, and a property tax freeze.

Halloween is the one night of the year kids get to take over the neighbourhood - but when it comes to the risk of being hit by drivers, it's also by far the most dangerous.

We lost our baby Vern last year, and this event was one piece of the grieving process that helped us move through it. There are very few non-denominational and public opportunities to gather with others and honour the dead
