1. We do not know the motive of the shooter. The man who shot at Trump was after attention.
2. The man who murdered MN legislators WAS motivated by politics, and I didn’t hear any Dems calling for reprisals against all Repubs.
3. It’s easy to start a cycle of violence. Not easy to end one.

Landlords say they can’t afford a rent freeze, but have $2.5M to give to Cuomo. Reminds me of corporations that spend millions to bust unions instead of just raising wages and offering benefits. Doing the right thing is always cheaper than the cost to block it.

Another example. Republican efforts to curb Veterans benefits by creating a disability rating system that costs more to operate than simply giving all veterans direct government healthcare. Same goes for healthcare for all Americans. Doing the right thing is always cheaper than the cost to block it.
