Americans are scared of Johnny Cash lyrics.
Same!
And I would also like an automatic skip all intros button, please.

I will be avoiding this BS at all costs.

My husband and I housed a Club Pack of lasagna the other night. If that were a euphemism to help us feel better, it did not work.

Not everything is a free speech issue. LLMs are just computer programs. Like a website or a database.

Look at it this way: if a hacker can trick your software into divulging credit card payment details, that's a data breach -- whether your software is an LLM or a website.

My favorite music venue was shut down, because they opened at 10 pm, and the restaurant owned by a dude with so many restaurants already, closed his at 10. He didn't like the one hour overlap. Fuck you, Ethan Stowell.

You have to be bleeding kool-aid to see this as any sort of positive.

I'm from Seattle. I watched it go from eclectic people with a love for art and music, to boring boxes and venues of all kinds being shut down. There are still great people there, but so many were pushed out.

Erica is a fantastic journalist. And Katie Wilson is looking to be great for all of Seattle, and a 180 from the previous mayor Bruce Harrell.

The neighbor I hung out with the other night who tried to (while blacked out) tell me he's MAGA (he's not) thought this Venezuela situation was terrorism.

I'd call it asshole behavior instead of petty. Heartless, even.

Like, are people putting the same offensive prompt but for Elon or large right-wing accounts?

I have a weird question, have users started doing this to men?
I'm not advocating it via question; I'm not over there so I was wondering if it's happening.

I went from "ew no phone calls" City Life, to "watch me fold clothes and cash people out at my sales job while complaining I have gas" Village Life.

Ever since moving to the middle of nowhere, the friends I've started making will regularly video call to BS, even if they aren't on screen. It's not weird for us to chore together and occasionally come back on screen with "look at all this pet hair". And it's.... really nice 🥹

So you're right, Sky should have taken the block lump and moved on, but didn't. And instead doubled down around the holiday typically hardest for most. And bsky team member hopped in to agree that person sucks. Also, that person totally doesn't suck.
January 5, 2026 at 3:48 AM
If I find someone annoying and they block me, I'm happy. And I don't need to mock them for not spending Christmas with people like me. Imagine being alone on Christmas and someone creates a thread to how stupid and alone you are because you blocked them.
January 5, 2026 at 3:46 AM
Sky was blocked by a user. Instead of taking their lumps, Sky took a screenshot, posted it, and made fun of the user for not having family and friends to be around, like they did. Then went on to talk about how the user that blocked them was really annoying anyway. Other bsky team jumped in to agree
