Inspiring how resilient #nature can be. This tree by the Orange Tree was cut down, and twice when it resprouted it was cut back to the bare trunk. Yet here it is today. @richmondcouncil.bsky.social please leave it alone this time: it's not doing any harm & is a sign of hope in worrying times.

People who have an abundance of money (more than £10m) won’t have to give anything up if we have a tiny 2% wealth tax (just £200k on £10m) they won’t out on anything. But we could raise a shed load of money to spend on the stuff that needs it - hospitals, schools - even tanks and bombs.
