maybe if israel had less “defensive Iron Dome capacities” they would stop attacking their neighbors (syria, iran, lebanon) for no reason at all. you have to be willfully ignorant to miss the current moment this hard. Here’s hoping someone a little brighter takes over the progressive lane.
I see the misinformation machine is kicking up to support Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Israel amendment.

Advocates have a responsibility to be clear about what legislation does and doesn’t do. Her amendment did NOT cut off offensive aid to Israel. We shouldn’t pretend it does.

My statement on it:

If the Supreme Court thinks universal injunctions are unconstitutional, to wait until *now* to say that, in this of all cases, with this of all presidents, is a devastating indictment of both its impartiality and its prudence.

- Religious exception rulings apply only to the plaintiffs.

- Environmental regulations continue to be enforced despite rulings against them (just not against plaintiffs).

- and on and on.

The left has to use this decision, not just criticize it.

It'll be chaos, but that's what the Justices get.

The left better start figuring out how to weaponize today's decision rather than just (rightfully) criticizing it.

- Go back into Judge Kaczmaryk's court to dissolve all of his nationwide orders.

- Pass gun bans and insist any order applies only to plaintiffs.

OK, I've read the injunction opinions once. I'll read them again and think about them some more. For now:

This Court either doesn't think they're staring down fascism, or they do. At this point, I'm not sure what would be worse. Because either way they are making law that helps fascists.

Final passage by one vote, though likely the present and 2 NV were all available to them if they had been needed. It's with the Senate now

WASHINGTON (AP) - Republican-led House approves tax bill after grueling all-night session, taking a major step forward for Trump's agenda.

Most people were uncomfortable with the way democrats lied repeatedly and brazenly about Biden’s condition, and this weird idolatry liberals have for him is indistinguishable from republican worship of Trump. It absolutely needs to be a litmus test for acknowledging reality.
The appropriate answer to this is "Who gives a single fucking shit? He was better as a dead guy than the people installing the Plane Crashing Machines and disappearing people off the street so they can cash in on military contracts while firing veterans." It's possible to not take the bait, I swear!
For the most part, leading Democrats are ducking what is fast becoming the first real litmus test of the 2028 campaign: former President Biden's mental acuity.
