HANDS OFF OUR PUBLIC LANDS!

Right now, Senate Republicans are trying to sneak language into Reconciliation that would sell off millions of acres of public lands.

BREAKING: Iran’s Parliament approves the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Decision needs ratified by Iran’s Security Council.

It would trap 20% of the world’s oil supply and send a catastrophic shock through the global economy.

so basically we’ve got two options here:

1. Iran does not meaningfully respond and the stupidest assholes alive take a victory lap and think they can do this again with impunity

2. Iran does respond and the same stupid assholes escalate into god knows what

great, wonderful, no notes

Trump bombing Iran was illegal and unjustified.

I ran for Congress to make sure our leaders consider the true costs of war.

And I will be in the Senate, standing on my titanium legs, demanding answers from Trump.

polling on bombing Iran showed the public very solidly against it and they have put absolutely nothing into selling it besides “lol I’m the president I have bombs isn’t it so cool”

I guess we’ll see how much the war-horny media does to shift things but loud immediate public opposition will be key

Trump just threatened more (and still congressionally unauthorized!) U.S. military strikes on Iran if they don’t come to the table. More strikes — and even threats of them — endanger the lives of our service members and millions of civilians in the region. It’s clear there is no real strategy here.

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

The only appropriate response to what Trump is doing is impeachment and removal from office. Elected officials who are not working toward this goal with urgency are helping to destroy the constitution and the rule of law.

By disregarding his own intelligence advisors that Iran was *not* about to have nuclear weapons, Donald Trump has, without any justification whatsoever, provoked Iran to retaliate against American troops in the Middle East and American civilians at home. He is a irresponsible, simpleminded idiot.

The Minnesota shooter apparently used data broker websites to find the home addresses of the people he shot and murdered.

Congress has had years to do something about data brokers and they've sided with the tech lobby over and over again.

Their inaction is deadly.

Senator Padilla was driven violently to his knees–as if made to kneel before the authority of the executive–because the administration called his questions “disrespectful”.

He will not be silenced or intimidated. His questions will be answered.
