In stable AKI patients, indication-based dialysis enabled faster liberation from dialysis and reduced health care resource use compared to conventional thrice-weekly treatment.

The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community encompasses diverse cultures and languages. They face a disproportionate burden with #lupus. Lupus-related death rates among Hispanic and Asian women are 4–6 times higher than the general population.

1. Avoid nephrotoxins (pt needs atbxs + CTA)
2. Keep MAP >65 (on the floor, not on pressors)
3. Trend Cr daily (already ✔️BMPs q 8h happening)
4. Strict I/Os (on diapers, refuses Foley/PureWick)
5. Renally dose all meds (pt not on any renally cleared med)

It has taken more than 4 years but the methodologically poor (doi.org/10.1016/j.th...) and questionable paper (1-day peer review bmcmedresmethodol.bi...) that promoted HCQ for COVID-19 is finally retracted. We've been saying for years it had to be (doi.org/10.1016/j.th...).
