Now, the contemporary true incidence of contrast AKI is likely very low owing to less nephrotoxic contrast(lower osmolality), lower volumes used, attention to care on whom to avoid if not necessary, more pervasive preventive protocols (IVF), etc etc.

Contrast-induced or associated AKI is absolutely real. Saying that it doesn’t exist means ur insulting generations of colleagues who came b4 us who observed/studied this phenomenon b4 our time and saying that it’s always been a fictitious entity in their minds.
