Sigh - classic fact free nonsense. ‘news’ story here totally fails to mention that Tory plans were for fines of £5k (later reduced to £3k) for each missed heat pump sale. What @Ed_Miliband has done is to reduce that to £500. Headline should read “Miliband slashes Tory boiler tax”

Every now and again you hear a brilliant live cover of a classic song. In 2010 this performance hit me on Simon Mayo's drivetime as I was heading home from work. By 3 minutes I had to pull over and listen as the song built, still think it's a brilliant performance..however

Thoughts on farmers and IH. The Inheritance tax on farmland will reduce the price of farmland which is good for farmers inheriting land and then paying less IH but bad for those using it to avoid IH as the asset will crash in value.
