Our Nova Scotia #Gaelic flag sales to the USA🇺🇸 and UK🏴🏴🇬🇧 have reopened for a very short window! All orders must be in by THU 4 SEP 2025. US orders go out Fri Sep 5 by USPS. UK Sep 15 Royal Mail. Due to the unfortunate tariff nonsense, we don't forsee having another chance to ship to the USA in 2025.

the ability of AI to "understand" satire
Google and Meta search both report that Cape Breton Island has its own time zone 12 minutes ahead of mainland Nova Scotia time because they are both drawing that information from a Beaverton article I wrote in 2024

OK this actually clears up a lot for me. Also reminds me of what our standard poodles look like when they stand up on 2 legs. We call them “person in a poodle suit”…
is it time to bust out my "bigfoot is bears" photo collection again? if your mental image of a bear is a thick-furred, fat glossy male bear in autumn, you're probably not prepared for how weird their proportions can look in spring, or when walking upright, like they frequently do.

I go to the gym 3/4 times a week, I consider myself to be in quite good shape. Recently moved to a house with a garden for the first time. Gardening makes you use muscles you did not realise you had.
