The only reason I’m reasonably able to teach my Sociology class is that I’m in a union and they have my back. I have retirement due to my union. I know when ever I can actually move I’m moving to a state with a high number of union members. #Solidarity
Across the country, Starbucks workers are on an Unfair Labor Practice strike for a fair first contract, and I know which side I’m on. Baristas make Starbucks an extraordinarily wealthy company. They are entitled to their fair share of that wealth and to benefits and fair treatment on the job.

i want to repeat this: mamdani and spanberger have run similar campaigns tailored to their respective electorates and it is maddening to watch political journalists attempt to create some broad contrast where none exist
the other thing about this is that there is no reason to pit these candidates against each other? each are good fits for their respective electorates and each shows the value of vigorous campaigns focused on the stated material problems of voters.
