Also we've fetishized "debate” in these spaces as some kind of civic good, when what matters is competence, trust, shared purpose. Medicine, engineering, boardrooms aren’t organized around debate or requirements of false balance. We've poisoned public discourse by insisting it be adversarial.

Losing them all in a span of just 5 years is heartbreaking.

Uff, der neue Knives Out Film ist vielleicht eine zähe und unspaßige Affäre. Daniel Craig und Josh O’Connor beide sehr gut, alle anderen noch mehr inhaltlich leere Charakterisierungen von parodistischen eindimensionalen Abziehbildern, als es sonst in diesen Filmen der Fall ist.

Uff, der neue Knives Out Film ist vielleicht eine zähe und unspaßige Affäre. Daniel Craig und Josh O’Connor beide sehr gut, alle anderen noch mehr inhaltlich leere Charakterisierungen von parodistischen eindimensionalen Abziehbildern, als es sonst in diesen Filmen der Fall ist.

getting people back into theatres requires two things: a greater diversity of well-produced and marketed films, along with exhibitors working to build community around the idea of moviegoing
I am not sure how to get people back into theaters or if it's possible, but I do know that if the strongest remaining argument is "you SHOULD," or something about the holiness of the collective big-screen experience, the battle is lost. That has no traction with people who don't already believe it.
