Once you realize they just care about their own position of power, and not along a strict ideology..
MIKE JOHNSON: From the people who mandated mask wearing for years, it's absurd. They need to back off ICE & respect our agents

Q: So you're ok w/agents not identifying themselves when they're arresting migrants?

J: Why, so they can target them? So they can put names and faces online and dox them?

One interesting phenomenon in American governance is the belief that agencies need to be financially “punished” for poor performance, as if that doesn’t directly get taken out on the folks who use that service
CTA’s C-suite gets paid the same whether they carry a thousand people a day or a million people a day. Reforms are how we hold them accountable; revenues are how we make sure ridership doesn’t bear the brunt of it.

Now more than ever, it’s #RevenuesAndReform.

I think The Mountain and the Viper is one of the most frustrating moments in GoT. Like, just the epitome of injustices and arrogance on the precipice of getting some semblance of justice. Feels like one of the moments where it was just so close to the "right" thing happening.

A LOT of people do not want to hear it but in the United States at least, food has never been safer to eat, not to mention tastier
We are living in one of the few times in human history where you can buy a loaf of bread and if it says it’s made with wheat flour and salt and yeast and water and nothing else, it’s probably made from just those ingredients, and some people want to END this.
