Hey there! My name is Dovent or Basement, I'm an illustrator that enjoys using dark themes to explore identity and trauma. I also love drawing fanart between personal works. I work both digitally and traditionally, often watercolor or gouache.

No, using AI generated stuff as a "placeholder" on your crowdfunding campaign is not OK either.

If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.

I know hiding in shells is their whole thing, but Coconut Octopuses (Amphioctopus marginatus) pretending to be bivalves never gets old.
