TABLETOP RAMBLER (2016)

I was chatting with Jordu Schell on the phone one night while working on a painting. I should have known better than to try to get serious work done! He’s too entertaining to listen to. 😉 1/4
In profile, a beast pads on four legs over rocky terrain against a backdrop of pale blue. Clouds streak across a full, salmon pink moon pierced by the two short spikes on its forehead. It has a snub nose, seemingly sniffing the night air, and a pronounced underbite laced sharp teeth while its mouth is pressed closed. The head slopes back continuing with tufts of fur forming a ridge as it sticks up along its back. It has long ears that come to a point and lie flat instead of sticking up. Similarly its short tail points straight down to the ground rather than extending out. At its feet lie skeletal remains including a human skull.
