Oh man I'm so used to this, I forgot to mention. Visual artists, you don't need to maintain a clean media tab because you can utilize hashtags to basically create an art-only feed!

sometimes its also just the only option left. too chronically ill to be an employee, even if working from home.
im grateful for not having to make the difficult decision between the two tho or the decision of quitting a day job & going fulltime with art etc. i dont envy that.

Yep, exactly, copy linework layer- gaussian blur- put it below and on like 30-50%.

sometimes i also copy the finished artwork, blur it and set the layer mode to one of the bright light ones, and then have the opacity at also like a 20% or something. this messes with the colours.

can I ask you how you did you achieve this... dreamy look? I see that the linework you posted below is with a textured brush, and the finished work is more blurred. is it the "copy the layer, blur it and put below the linework" method or something else?

"An Exquisite Corpse"

Digital artwork drawn int he style of a historical medical diagram. It depicts a scruffy half-elf man with shoulder-lenght wavy hair thats pulled back and a sad expression. On the right side of the page, he stands, with his hands behind his back, with his legs bare and his chest splayed open to reveal his internal organs. There are arrows and numbers pointing to his various organs, corresponding with their names written ont he bottom of the page. On the left side, there is the same man, this time only his head and torso, splayed open again but this time with organs removed, showing his ribcage and spine. From his neck, the neck and head arteries are pulled out in a branching pattern resembling almost a crown of sorts. His eyes are rolled back, in an unconcious expression this time. From the empty cavity of his chest and stomach, large worm-like forms are pulled and splayed out, held in medical forceps and other clamps.
