When you post for likes/attention, you are setting a certain kind of expectation. Ive seen popular fanartists lose all that traction when they burn out from doing solely fanart and go back to doing original art.
Its best to create what you love and find other people who resonate with that art.

What do you do when the art you don't enjoy making as much gratuitously outperforms art you enjoy more?

this is my superhero comic. consider reading it if you love men yearning for beautiful women who will arrest them, fashion, guys talking about their feelings for each other without realizing who the other one actually is, wet dreams, workplace comedies and nerds with incredible asses
I like seeing art vs artists because oftentimes you see them look like their art OR there's an element of their artwork that's so clearly subconsciously drawn in due to their own likeness.

hey so Stripe is doing Al garbage where if you let it handle disputes you have to pay it 30% of the refund. the email link to opt out didn't work. i couldn't find the right menu myself, and after some searching, managed to find it elsewhere. turn this shit off.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
