Spain has become the Western world's economic-growth leader -- with the lowest deficits in Europe to boot -- by using the same toolkit Ottawa has before it (immigration plus investment in big capital projects), but doing it right. We should learn from them

Two years ago I had lunch with the dean of a department at one of Toronto’s major universities and she told me she had instructed all her profs teaching first-year classes to do exactly this. It sounded sensible and I wonder if it’s now more widely applied

This is conspiracy theory stuff. China doesn’t need to spy on baby monitors to know what Americans are doing. They can just open Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or one of the many apps that Americans use to share the kind of information that two generations ago couldn’t be waterboarded out of them.
