I think now might be a good time to step back just a little bit and have a look at the much bigger picture here.
Last month Carney made a deal with Smith to start planning a pipeline - which no one thought we needed, or wanted

This is not a good move. If Greenland falls, Canada is next. Canada needs to stand with Europe so that if the time comes, they will stand with us.

Canadian troops won’t be joining European military force in Greenland
Small numbers of troops from European countries — including Denmark, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Britain — are being deployed to the Arctic island.

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

Had to check if Buffalo ever eliminated MTL in the playoffs

Yes, 1998.

They also met in 1993 conference semi finals. We know how that ended.

My brother just pointed out Shane Wright has his 9th assist tonight - closed with “we could really use him” - if any doubt that’s Canadian sarcasm.

Shutting down Washington is a real challenge.
Nothing for the HABS to be ashamed of tonight - back to back, travel, and still heading to OT

My experience this past week- but most of what I see is still “you’re overreacting”
Two reasons-
1. they’re ( the experts) focused on proving they’re right. Rather than seeing what’s really happening.
2. They’re not experiencing this the way a good many of us are.

And I am also saying with this post..... understand you got to be patient about this moment as fans.

This group is collectively a newborn baby at trying to handle this moment.

Learning takes experience and time. Let them learn without losing your shit lol

Aston Martin looks lost in its own hype...which is why the hype train has either been delayed or slowed down. It's there still, but a lot less cocky than just a few weeks ago.

Tough conference this year.

Fowler, maybe. I'm talking about the elite talents that light up a building. Lafleur class. You never know how it's going to play out but the Habs have a boatload of them. By far the best drafting I've ever seen.

Since the light bulb went off for Slafkovsky, he has 28 points in his last 24 games.

Is he a PPG player? Sure is a possibility.
If Hage hits the numbers expected in this article the habs could be looking at 4-6 point per game players in a given year (Suzuki, Caufield, Slaf, Hutson, Demidov, and Hage). For reference the best version of the recent Avs and Oilers had 4 and the 80s Oilers had 5
The offence went back to work again against Vancouver.

Demidov had a breakout game, is it time for a goalie to go down and who ya got, and Hage will be a PPG player and why.

All in this COTW for Global Montreal

Once again, Xhekaj led the way physically with 6 hits and most of them were of the big variety! Next were Blais and Bolduc with 4.
