Got a great example of DOGE INefficiency today. We received an envelope of 1041-ES forms for someone who passed away almost 20 years ago. Great job messing with those databases and all our personal info, Einsteins.

Childhood circumstances made me very aware of this part of our history and I remember being shocked when I got to college and many people knew nothing about it. The US has done a really good job of suppressing this and it is really troubling to think of how quickly history can be erased.
Today is the #DayOfRemembrance commemorating Executive Order 9066 and the government's mass incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII. Eight years ago, I wrote about visiting Manzanar, what life was like in the camp, and how the National Park Service plays a role in teaching civil rights.
