I present my review of "Unfettered," John Fetterman's memoir. In between petty grievances about doing his job, Fetterman asserts that he's feeling good.

Two days after "Unfettered" came out, Fetterman fell directly on his face from ventricular fibrillation, a life-threatening heart rhythm disorder.

JD Vance owns a company that buys American real estate and sells it to foreign investors. They specifically target Americans in crisis to buy their property for less than it is worth.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Again it’s not good that the most prominent leaders of the party keep insisting it’s a trap to talk about “identity” when the Trump administration is pushing white supremacy.
Speaking at a Texas Tribune Festival on Friday, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg criticized the Democratic Party for failing to reach everyday Americans, arguing that it “got sucked in” to a conversation about identity. #TribFest25

He's still married to a man, right? I guess he assumes his whiteness and military service record will protect him for Republicans calling him an f-slur. How amazing that he was able to ride identity politics to the national spotlight in time.

For years, Google has advertised their services as "encrypted" and "secure", which begs the question: are they really?

in online corners like these I think people largely recognize how credulous, unprincipled opposition to "wokeness" functioned as lightly papered over defenses of impunity, but it's one of those drums people should probably start beating for normies
Something absolutely perfect about Larry Summers riffing about the scourge of woke cancel culture being unfair to predatory men in a friendly email to his pal JEFFREY EPSTEIN.

These people are HILARIOUS.

I get that people felt the Biden Administration didn't take inflation seriously enough, but these motherfuckers are just lying and playing in our faces.

HASSETT: We're comfortable that inflation has come way down

QUINTANILLA: Even though it's been increasing for 5 straight months?

HASSETT: Well I guess there's ups and downs and seasonals

The people screaming about replacing Schumer don't realize no one takes them seriously. There's a calculation that a portion of center-left people will just not vote or not vote for Dems. So it's annoying but not surprising that Dem pols spend more time thinking about moderates and conservatives.
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

In 2020, Twitter actually was a good site for several months. I started following a lot of accounts that were offering really good political commentary with decent threaded discussions. It was like a year later that a lot of these accounts were posting Only Fans promo content.
James Talarico, a Texas Democrat running for U.S. Senate who has put his faith at the forefront of his campaign, follows several adult film performers, escorts and OnlyFans models on Instagram, according to an Axios review.
