The most openly racist, eugenicist monsters are running the U.S. They will use every opportunity to advance their agenda.

And as the wheels come off their regime they will only grow more brutal and obscene. These are dangerous days for us all.
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

"The day after Thanksgiving is the start of the holiday shopping season, and like their predecessors of a century ago, reformers are focusing on consumers’ power to push back on the policies of the Trump administration, launching a campaign they call “We Ain’t Buying It,” writes HCR.

This is the scandal. Trump isn’t targeting dangerous people. He’s targeting peaceful immigrants. Almost exclusively.

“The National Guard is stranded somewhere on this battlefield of partisan politics. They are not ready for this arena, and we should never have asked them to be. Politics is not a military mission.” @juliettekayyem.bsky.social

A Terrible and Avoidable Tragedy in D.C.
Trump was warned that members of the military could be attacked.

The unifying aim of all Trump pronouncements and actions is to trash the constitution and impose a white supremacist militarized autocracy by EO and truth social decree - the latest attack on naturalization and birthright citizenship is an ugly new escalation of that barbaric aim.

The shooter of the the National Guard in DC was granted asylum in April of this year. Refresh my recollection: Who was president in April of this year? Was it Joe Biden? No, I didn't think so . . .

And why was the National Guard unnecessarily there at all? Was it Joe Biden? No, I didn't think so.

“ICE is about to have a bigger budget than the entire military of Israel. It’s an insane way for us to be spending our resources as a country.” - @timmiller.bsky.social

ALSO REMEMBER THAT ICE will be descending on Spanish-speaking CHURCHES beginning this weekend and arresting congregants throughout the holiday season ‼️PLEASE notify your communities ASAP‼️🔥
This Thanksgiving, ICE fascists are arresting people in San Diego At Their Green Card Interviews!

These immigrants followed the law & did everything right—ICE is arresting them anyway.

It was never about law & order. It was always about fascism & white supremacy. Abolish ICE. Protect our Republic.

Trump’s border czar allegedly accepted $50,000 in cash bribes to deliver government contracts.

But the Trump admin has refused to investigate it or answer our questions.

@whitehouse.senate.gov, @blumenthal.senate.gov and I are using every tool at our disposal to get to the bottom of this.

unironically i think he wants to impose the conditions of his childhood onto the entire country
JD Vance's ideal America is a place with half the GDP where everyone with potential and options gets the fuck out, a shithole that people from countries with actual dynamism visit to watch chintzy 'traditional' dances before going home.

In case you missed this, the BBC edited a historian's speech about Trump to remove the claim that he's "the most openly corrupt president in US history." This came after Trump had threatened a $1 billion lawsuit.

Elite capitulation continues.

Read all about it here:

Trump Angrily Threatened to Sue BBC. Then Things Took a Darker Turn.
First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?

Stephen Miller is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. His great-grandparents inhabited the Pale of Settlement (western Russia where Jews were allowed to live) and escaped Russian pogroms and the Holocaust. All the same racist, xenophobic, ignorant things he is saying were said about his own family.

Gosh, and to think I was under the impression Stephen Miller's forebears were the dudes who landed at Jamestown, kidnapped Pocahontas, and then forcibly deported her
Ah yes, Stephen Miller, née Stephen Standish Miller, a descendant of the Mayflower Standishes

Republicans are determined to let the Affordable Care Act tax credits expire.

These extremists haven’t done a damn thing to address the high cost of living.

And that’s why working class Americans are abandoning the GOP in droves.

Today on Native American Heritage Day, we honor indigenous cultures whose influence and contributions are evident in communities across the country. Arizona is a special place, and the 22 tribes that call our state home are a big reason for it.

"It would be a shame if this single act of betrayal became the excuse for deporting all Afghan refugees...

"Thousands are building new lives here in peace. Collective punishment won’t make America safer."
