Social democratic reforms could fix 90% of the US’ problems and extend the lifespan of capitalism by decades or centuries—but they just will not do it. The rich despise us and have made it absolutely clear that they’re done making concessions (especially post-USSR). It’s a fatal, revealing mistake.
