There's a big LA city vote coming up Wednesday that would enact a citywide rent freeze and eviction moratorium for disaster-impacted tenants, plus require mandatory rent gouging reports to track and enforce violations.

hey LA residents, especially those who walk or would like to walk more (me)! the city dept. of public works has a survey up about pedestrian infrastructure, and my sense is participation won't be very wide. it's pretty short, 11 questions, please take a minute to fill it out if you have thoughts!
